Trip Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our safari guide who will brief you on the Uganda safari ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you can choose to explore the serene botanical gardens or visit Entebbe Zoo for a sneak peek into Uganda’s rich wildlife. Overnight stay in Entebbe.

After an early breakfast, set off for the scenic Sipi Falls in the foothills of Mount Elgon, a 5 to 6-hour journey through Uganda’s lush landscapes. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at your lodge before an afternoon hike to explore the three stunning waterfalls cascading down rocky cliffs. Sipi Falls is surrounded by lush greenery, offering breathtaking views of the plains and Mount Elgon’s foothills. The area is culturally rich, with the local Sabiny people playing a significant role. The 3-hour hike provides opportunities to interact with the community and enjoy the spectacular views. Overnight stay at Sipi Falls. Travel time: 7 to 8 hours.

After an early breakfast, continue your Uganda safari to the remote and rugged Kidepo Valley National Park via the Mbale-Moroto road. During the drive, look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and the elusive cheetah. Return to your lodge to relax before heading out in the afternoon to visit the Karamojong community. Experience their unique nomadic culture, engage in traditional dances, and learn about their way of life. Overnight stay in Kidepo Valley National Park.

After an early breakfast, depart from Kidepo Valley for a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s oldest and largest national park. The journey is long but offers stunning views of the countryside along the way. Arrive at Murchison Falls in the late afternoon, check-in to your lodge, and relax. Overnight stay at Murchison Falls National Park. Travel time: About 7 to 8 hours.

Wake up early at 6:30 am and enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea before heading out for an exhilarating morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, home to 76 mammal species and over 451 bird species. Keep an eye out for predators such as lions, jackals, hyenas, and the elusive leopard, as well as elephants, giraffes, and topis. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile River, where you’ll encounter hippos, Nile crocodiles, and bird species like the Giant kingfisher and rare Shoebill stork. The cruise culminates at the base of the powerful Murchison Falls, offering spectacular views of the world’s most powerful waterfalls.

On the final day, visit the top of Murchison Falls for a breathtaking view of the powerful waters surging through a narrow gorge. Afterward, begin your journey back to Kampala with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Uganda’s only natural habitat for endangered rhinos, for a guided rhino-trekking experience.
