The 1-hour 15-minute flight provides breathtaking aerial views, and upon landing, your guide will transfer you to your lodge in Bwindi in a 4x4 safari vehicle. Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority Rangers. Alongside fellow trekkers, learn about mountain gorillas and the guidelines for gorilla trekking. The trek begins at 8 am, and with your packed lunch, embark on an unforgettable journey through dense vegetation, guided by expert rangers. Depending on the location of your gorilla family, the trek may take 30 minutes to six hours, navigating steep, forested terrain with chances to spot monkeys, birds, and other wildlife along the way. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch and some relaxation before embarking on a 2-hour afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.
